OHAI Trains Staff and Associates on Accessing Grants

In her commitment to Human Capacity and Resource Development and Sustainability in Africa, the management of Oral Health Advocacy Initiative (OHAI), on Monday 29th July 2019 organized a Grant Writing Master Class for her Staff, Associates and Members of the public.

The training which was held at the organization’s head office in Abuja had in attendance members from different walks of life including Medical Professionals, Academicians, Entrepreneurs, Social and Community Workers, Business Men and Women as well as students who came to learn the acts of writing and accessing grants to fund their projects, research, ideas, businesses and scholarships to further their studies.

Speaking at the event, the facilitator, Ms Ifedayo Durosinme-Etti after leading members through the various steps and processes of writing and accessing grants, charged participants to put into action the lessons learned and take advantage of the funding opportunities.

In response, Professor Simon Apeh who spoke on behalf of the participants appreciated the Leadership of Oral Health Advocacy Initiative for presenting this rare opportunity to the public and pledged allegiance to uphold the knowledge and to put it to use while praying for the program to be sustained.

Correspondingly, the Executive Director of Oral Health Advocacy Initiative, Dr. Ver-or Ngutor acknowledged the wisdom and knowledge added to the organization through the training and urged participants not to relent in accumulating knowledge whenever opportunity surfaces even as he reiterated the commitment of Oral Health Advocacy Initiative to sustainable Human Capacity and Resource Development in Africa.
