1 in every 700 children is born with a cleft lip and/or palate. Many among the children born with cleft in Africa are from poor families who are living on less than a dollar a day. These families cannot afford the cost of the corrective surgeries.
Children born with this defect have difficulties breast-feeding, they speak in nasal tone, and they look different, so they face cruel name-calling. All of these ends, if only they get a chance of surgery and needed care.
Our mission is to provide free corrective surgeries for all who are living with this defect in Africa.
Your donations will help us to procure instruments, medications, equipment, sutures, and other items necessary to support our teams in the field.
Your gift in any amount helps!
